To get promotion to the next class school will conduct two unit tests in the month of May and December, mid term examination in September – October and final term in February – March for classes VI to the IX and XI.
For classes X and XII Pre-Board examination will be conducted from December onwards.
According to the remoulded structure of CBSE (2017-18). The Annual Examination is followed wherein, the scholastic area will have weightage of 80 marks and internal assessment based on regularity and punctuality of work is of 20 marks.
The Pupils are strictly forbidden to borrow stationery in the examination hall. Students found copying consulting and carrying answer slips to the examination hail will be liable for punishment such as cancellation of the papers.
Promotion to a higher class depends upon:
a) Regularity in attendance.
b) Regularity and quality of day-to-day participation in the class activity.
c) Opinion of the teachers teaching the class.
d) Written work and projects assigned by the subject teachers.
From the total of the three major written tests and the two tests, a pupil must obtain 40% marks in each subject.
Results declared at the end of the year are final in all respects and will not be reconsidered.
A pupil failing twice in the same class will have to discontinue his/her studies in the school.
Parents are requested to sign the report card during the Parent-Teacher meeting.
